Problem
Prosser Farm has been part of the TDR family since 2006, but they don’t tell the story very well on their websites or in their restaurants. They have the Prosser Farm logo and a small blurb on all of their menus, but that is more or less the extent of the story they have told their customers. Leaving the storytelling up to the front-of-house staff, which results in inconsistent messaging (if any).
Goal
The goal of this project is to develop the site structure and visual design for a new website that tells the story of Prosser Farm and how it contributes to the overall reputation for quality at all Tom Douglas restaurants. When more people understand how Prosser Farm provides a compelling and unusual way for TD restaurants to truly offer a farm-to-table dining experience it will enhance customer satisfaction and encourage them to come try more TD restaurants.
Solution
To create an elegant, yet rustic visual design language that tells the Prosser Farm story, build brand trusts and engages their customers. I used an earthy color palette, warm muted photography, overlapping elements, thin lines and hand drawn vector illustrations. All of these elements were carefully chosen to build the brand as rustic + authentic.
